For the month of March Enso features Molly K. Costello - Pratt of Red Rhino Glassworks. We are extremely excited and thankful she is traveling here from Delaware state (Yes not city ;) hahaha). Many of you have seen and asked about the stained glass pieces featured at Enso since opening. Now it's your chance to get one of your own. Come hang out and enjoy the night with us. Rumor has it there may be some never seen before terrariums... you'll have to come out to see for yourself.
From a very young age, I knew that I wanted to work with glass. My parents would gift me with a Tiffany lamp calendar every year for Christmas. I would excitedly pour through the pictures, mesmerized by endless sea of color and design. For my sixteenth birthday, friends purchased a stained-glass kit for me. After many cuts and frustrations, I enrolled in a beginners stained glass class at the age of 18.
I specialize in the classic Tiffany method of stained glass. It affords me the flexibility to design very detailed pieces. I like bold lines and interesting color combinations. I am inspired by tattoo art, folk art and urban art. Franklin Lloyd Wright and Louis Comfort Tiffany are also enormous influences.
In 2011, I founded Red Rhino Glassworks in Woodside, Delaware. I work with personal commissions that are shipped all over the country and I also do custom work for new construction homes.
My works have been shown throughout the Delmarva area and the Midwest. I am also a member of Rehoboth Art League (RAL) in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware.
I live in Woodside, Delaware with my husband Jeff and our 4 children.
